“As Carl Gustav Jung, the Swiss psychiatrist, famously declared, our goal is completeness, not perfection.”
This idea aptly describes the process of autogenic training and the accepting attitude we cultivate toward ourselves throughout. I believe the essence of the method lies in becoming fulfilled in who we have always been.

Autogenic Training
The practice of autogenic training draws primarily from two major traditions: yoga and various Eastern practices, and hypnotherapy. Dr. Johannes Heinrich Schultz, a German physician, developed the method in the early twentieth century after observing that hypnotherapy often provided only short-term relief for his patients. He sought to develop a method that could achieve longer-term results by strengthening patients' confidence in themselves.
Autogenic training proved effective, and almost a century later it has become the most widely researched and scientifically validated relaxation method.
The essence of autogenic training is that by relaxing and stilling the body, the mind is quieted and a state of deep relaxation is achieved. It also strengthens the client’s self-confidence, as they experience the ability to control their body and emotions. Once the method is mastered with the help of a trained expert, clients are able to apply it independently.
The aim of the method is to restore and support the body’s natural self-healing processes, enabling clients to draw upon their own strengths to lead a healthier and more relaxed life.
The learning process spans 12 weeks, during which the practitioner and client build the final formula step by step. Each week focuses on a different body part or sensation, so that by the end, the client can perform the complete exercise with ease.
The first session is not part of the 12-week course. It is an introductory meeting, during which the client can try the method and we can get to know each other.
How Can I Help?
The autogenic training toolkit can offer support for a wide range of difficulties. Please feel free to contact me regarding the following concerns:
chronic fatigue, stress, lack of motivation, tension, mild anxiety, psychosomatic symptoms (e.g., hypertension, digestive issues, heart rhythm disturbances, asthma).
I also welcome clients who wish to develop greater self-awareness and learn to interpret their body’s signals more effectively.
Autogenic training can be learned by anyone. All that is needed is dedication and a desire to live a less stressful life or to become more in touch with oneself.
